For nearly twenty
years war raged in Vietnam sucking the USA into its longest war, a
war that was to prove humiliating for itleaving nearly sixty
thousand of its personel dead, over a million North Vietnamese and
Vietcong fighters dead, nearly a quarter of a million South
Vietnamese soldiers dead and nearly two million civilians on
either side dead. Wars should never be commemorated rather
remembered and lessons learned.
