Japanese War Game

Before WW2 had begun the Japanese were already at war with China and were the subject of an embargo by the Allies that was rapidly diminishing its oil and other reserves. Determined not be be severely disadvantaged Japan began preparations to neutralise the USA in the Pacific by attacking Pearl Harbor and invading British Singapore which would then secure access to oil rich Borneo and Java. This WW2 Japanese war game is based on those events. The resulting Battle of Singapore lasted just a week from 8th to 15th February 1942 and was described by then British PM as "the worst disaster" in British military history as the Japanese triumphed taking some 80,000 British Empire citizens as prisoners of war.
